This is scary. I feel most of the most powerful countries in the world aren't prepared for cyberwarfare which could ultimately lead to the end of mankind with minimal effort.

Good video, I liked how it stressed the people behind the dark net, giving a glimpse into their motivation.

Cyberwarfare is a frightening subject. These sorts of things should definitely be considered when forming international laws and treaties. However, the video fails to mention that a lot of the laws concerning warfare that we have in place today are reactionary. They were not based on hypotheticals, but rather they were reactions to atrocities that occurred.

The thought of this is terrifying. The world is nowhere near ready for this kind of thing.

The way in which wars have been fought have changed with every major conflict. World War 1, for example, had sides fighting in the old style of straight forward combat, while other nations with more advanced techniques had technology on their sides. Flamethrowers, U-boats, chemical gas, and machine guns were all used during this conflict for the first time in a war of this magnitude. Enemies and Alies adjusted, but they weren’t initially prepared for it. Same thing for World War II; Radar and advanced air tactics made it very difficult for enemies to adjust. History shows that if you are able to stay ahead of the game and adjust to the new form of a threat, you can come out on top. Today, we face cyber threats. Deaths on a massive scale can be conducted behind the screen of ones computer with just a click of a button. Having programs that teach individuals how to deal with cyber crime is a major step in the right direction to keep us prepared to face any danger that comes. Cyber warfare is definitely a scary thought. Especially when you consider what is capable.
