Defining the cyber war maybe is not easy in the law; however, it could be easily recognized in practical situation. In the war, one tries anything they could including cyber-attack to destroy its adversary and protect itself. The cyber-attack is some kinds of low costs battle form and could be easily mastered by all kinds of countries or organizations. In this case, the law may not forbid it effectively like chemical weapon or nuclear weapon. The book Ghost Fleet predicts that the World War III may start with cyber-attack. Therefore, the law about the cyber war is necessary in the future to give us a clear boundary of cyber war; and it quite fall behind with rapid development of technology now.

I found this particular video very interesting because of the questions that were posed through out. I do not feel there is one easy answer for defining what cyberwar is and how to go about creating progress because of how quickly the information technology world is growing. Will there ever be one person or organization that will know everything there is to know about technology? Probably not, therefore groups and organizations around the world should take a unity approach in order to ensure there is an understanding all around. That way when it comes down to creating laws their will be an overall understanding of who is to be held accountable and what may or may not be to come next.

Wow, this is scary. It looks like the internet is more harm than good nowadays. In deed, international laws should be informed. This is ridiculous. I am totally confused as to the insanity of the world today. People enjoy killing others and not even thinking that they too would die one day. Using the internet to stop a pacemaker is just unbelievable. I think these people are insane and not normal. what would they gain in doing this/? The worst part is, these are innocent people that are suffering. In deed new international laws should be enforced

I somewhat don’t agree with the video that ‘we can’t be sure as what constitutes a crime’ I think it’s fairly certain the intention behind the act is what defines it. And killing anybody without going through proper law enforcement channel is a crime; and when you commit a crime against a leader of nation you are indeed committing a crime against whole country. I simply can’t understand the confusion here. The case in which the power grid of allied nations is brought down is the 2nd act of war, the 1st on was sending nuclear warship which was intended to kill thousands of people, so ultimately the enemy nation succeeded in getting the result they always intended. Again I feel that there should be no confusion here as who is the culprit. I don’t think how a particular software is being used is the fault of the programmer it’s completely user responsibility. It’s nice to have peace but we cannot entirely rely upon it as nothing lasts forever, so yes we do need better cyber laws.
