Having re-entered the field after several years at a different occupation, this video makes me wish that the corporate world embraced the same type of training. Nothing beats hands-on practice and working with the same people for a sustained period of time so you can form a productive team that supports each other. A week-long class to get a certificate is not nearly as effective as ongoing training in a realistic environment. I hear constant complaints about "not enough skilled people to do the job", and to that I say "put a training plan together like this one and out will come skilled people".

There was a good point when they compared the different battle fronts from past and present. For example, in modern times, we are now exploring and trying to dominate the cyber front on the battle field. Close to a century ago, we were exposed to flight so we trained pilots and built a lot of air craft for offense and defense. War fare is changing. Land, Air, Sea, and now Cyber.

The training given is definitely very thorough. It looks like a good opportunity to learn things in the field in a live situation. Since Computer Forensics is different in the classroom than in real life, the exposure that the air force gets is quite envious.

This video is an excellent representation of what the USAF is accomplishing today. This cyberwarriors are getting training and equipment.
