I think it's appropriate that the USAF has taken the lead on the cyber front, it seems like the most technically inclined branch of the military. Plus they probably realized that with the decline of traditional warfare and the rise of drones they would need to expand their capabilities.

Just like Marines and Seals we need elite cyber team. Glad that Military is on that path.

It's a well done promotional video. I liked that civilian certifications are being leveraged. That way, the student will have options both inside and outside the Air Force.

This was a very informing video on how the US Air Force trains its cyber personal. Its very interesting that they have to take a 9 week course that teaches them all about cyber security and how to help defend the US computer networks. I also that it was neat that they encourage the personal to pursue computer security certificates. Another interesting thing I noticed is that they bring in SANS professionals to help teach the course, which is very cool.

Although the U.S. may be behind on the cyber front, it's good to see the military gaining some momentum in beefing up our cyber defenses. This was definitely a promotional video but it did a good job at tracking the path of a 'cyber warrior' from the basic training they receive to the specialized weapons they eventually defend. It was neat to see the Sans Institute teaming up with the military to offer a more comprehensive training and offer the soldiers valuable certifications that will be useful to them after their military careers.
