Best video EVER!!! This is a highlight reel of exactly what I'm looking to do! And I love how they cover damaged media, all those neat looking tools as well as expert witnessing and how to actually speak at a trial. This is what the journey in becoming a computer forensics investigator is all about!

I have been involved in the cyber crime investigations and digital forensics field in federal law enforcement fo the past 17 years. This is the most promising career field in law enforcement. Additionally, if you become an expert in this field, there is a lucrative career path in the private sector. When I first became involved in law enforcement in the 80's, the only high tech evidence involved ballistics, hair/fiber, fingerprint, etc. Now, we have the addition of "1's" and "0's".

This was an excellent video clip showing the public more about what the agencies within the Military Criminal Investigation Organization utilizes to help solves crimes within the DoD. I believe this also shows some of the career opportunities that are rarely advertised, as I am sure many people would be interested in performing these jobs. I believe the military services are making huge advances towards solving digital related crimes, but there is always room for improvement. More information can be found here http://www.cid.army.mil/join_CID.html .

Loved the video! It was very informative on showing us, still learning about the field what computer forensics is all about in the real world.
