This was a very interesting video explaining how the DOD investigates cyber crimes. I never thought about investigators traveling to Afghanistan and investigating terrorists. I also liked how they teach the investigators hands on lab experiences in the classroom. It was also neat how some investigators explained some past cases they worked on and how they used computer forensics to solve or help the case.

I found this to be a good reminder that there is a computer component to a lot of crime these days. I especially liked the comment that computer forensic techniques are just an extension of forensic investigations from the non-digital world. They showed several images of gaming systems, I wonder if there are any courses that deal with forensic analysis of gaming systems. The recent attacks in Paris were initially alleged to have been planned via PlayStation chat. Although that was later determined not to be true, it might have given people an idea for future crimes.

These days every crime virtually involves a computer, so it is good to see DoD conducting computer forensics within military.

This is a motivating video and a reminder that the world is evolving and there is an ever-growing need for more of these professionals.

Great video to show many possible areas that computer forensic expertise can assist in. Also provided good information on the work DoD does in this area.
