Lasers and mosquitoes, would watch again. Seriously though, it was a interesting demo of current technology and vulnerabilities. I'm not really sure where the gentlemen was going with his presentation, but overall I learned a little about a lot of things. TED is always a good watch.

Ted Talks has a wealth of good videos on any number of interesting subjects, and this is another one. Really enjoyed the speakers presentation making light at some less than intelligent decisions some hackers made over the years, i.e. MySpace Hackers. The most noteworthy point the speaker makes is around the fourteen minute mark when he starts talking about how hackers look at things compared with the non-hackers. The mosquito eradication project is a perfect example of how the hacker mentality if employed appropriately is capable of solving complex problems from a non-traditional way.

This is a very interesting video, and it covered a lot of interesting stuffs about various techniques to exploit new technology. You can never imagine how technology is developed at such a rapid speed, and you probably do not know who is behind your back. It seems to me that the hackers can enter in your system if they want, like the unlock technology-master keys. The secured credit cards is really interesting to me. Even though the bank says it is secured, actually not. The hackers can steal have your information. The mosquito project shows us the ways hackers use to discover possible attacking points. I recommend their website, including a lot of interesting topics.

This is a very interesting video demonstrating vulnerabilities in different pieces of technology. It reminds me that your information is never secure even if you think that it is. The RFID credit card technology was the most interesting becasue it should be secure. However the demonstration showed that technology exists to easily copy the card information. And depending on the credit card company, your name could be included on the stolen information.
