This seems like another example of law enforcement having to adapt to an ever changing threat. I did not consider drone hacking to be a threat, but given the way criminals are, they are always looking for that next leg up on law enforcement and crime prevention efforts.

Scary!! Reminds me of the test hack some did a while back to hack into a vehicle. Imagine engaging "auto pilot" on your vehicle and someone has the ability to hack into it and take control of your vehicle. I think it is very interesting that the FBI states that Cyber will overtake Terrorism as their number one priority...I have worked with multiple FBI agents across the country and most I have encountered are not Cyber experts or even have much of a cyber background....since cyber is such a threat I'm inclined to think that there probably needs to be an organization that is solely dedicated to the Cyber threat domestically and has the authority to do something about it...I'm not confident that the FBI has the capabilities and/or resources to handle Cyber.

It seems that the world continues to become more electronically data driven with each passing day, yet the ability to keep up with cyber criminals becomes harder as well. With these passing days and the knowledge of all crimes committed daily, it makes you wonder if the overall crime and punishment gap between law enforcement and criminals is getter bigger or smaller.

This is crazy! It's amazing how the criminal is very innovative when it comes to exploiting new technologies for nefarious purposes. It is good that people who grew up in the information age have a better understanding of technology are joining the ranks of law enforcement who can better understand to combat these emerging crimes.

Drones are getting cheaper now a days and definitely this would be one the best technique to be used by terrorist/hacker/bad guy. Cyber laws makers are required to foresee the effects caused by use of such devices and come with laws and not to await for any such crime to be committed.
