This is crazy with the drones being able to hack into phones! The problem is we are becoming so dependent on technology for convenience. This is very dangerous because the bad guys are always one step ahead of law enforcement. Especially regarding water treatment plants, nuclear sites, and other areas that if hit, would have a tremendous negative impact on us.

It is great that the government is taking great strides in putting cyber security first as this is an issue that growing faster and faster as technology progresses. Smart items are becoming more of a phenomenon at an alarming rate. Everyone wants the new "thing" these days. This only makes people more vulnerable. These smart technologies should be equipped with information regarding how easily your information might be able to be obtained. There is a scary number in the amount of people who are naive to attacks on their personal data.

That was really neat about the drones remotely hacking into cell phones, but also scary. I agree with others who commented that we are very dependent on technology. Security really needs to be intrinsic to technology devices, but often times it seems like it is more of an afterthought.

If we were more strategic in educating everyone to be technically proficient then we would not be having these issues as much with Cyber crime. It would seem our society is too reactive in every way. A community focused effort would assist us staying ahead of these cyber criminals.
