It’s an interesting era that we are in where technologies are making our life better yet putting our daily life out there for the world to see. Because the way everything is embedded it’s hard to find out where your information maybe going. I agree with the user jczamy that IP cameras, Internet enabled TV are more prone to cyber attacks. Not just drones and wearable, but any devices that have some sort of memory, internet capacities, etc can be hacked.

What about cyber cars? Recently Wired did an article where the reporter was driving a Jeep and they had two people hack into the car as part of a research study using the wifi capabilities as their entry point. Even though this hack was expected by the driver, he still explained how out of control and scared he was. It's scary to think that cyber criminals can exploit vulnerabilities like these and a person has to put all their trust in companies. The FBI recently declared they were creating an initiative to work more closely with the private sector. Joining forces to create cyber awareness--i think this is great step for securing data.

As technology changes so does cybercrime and opportunities increase. Drones, smart watches, smart glasses etc. are fun and convenient but they are also ways to hurt people. I think we expose ourselves more to potential attacks with the use of these products.

The rate at which devices are being developed to launched is increasing but we often forget about the security aspect for the devices that we buy. Cyberspace is growing with multiple technologies but we need to be precise on how to be safe while being online. Already there are multiple countries that have banned drones from being used as they could carry destructive weapons.
