Interesting clip about hacking and we all know that everyday there is a new hacking or spying tool developed. So it seems normal to us when we see something new and we actually used to that because of what we hear every single day about HACKERS.

The internet of things is creating a world where our everyday items that we use on a daily basis or online and hooked up to the internet and a potential hack-able device. Even our refrigerators can be hacked now as some contain WiFi/Bluetooth connections. In the video it mentioned the FBI now is most focused on cybercrime, even ahead of terrorism. I imagine this will continue to grow exponentially in the future and the need for cyber security specialists will also grow with it to try and stay ahead of the curve.

I don't understand and would not and cannot figure out where technology is heading to and left me thinking whether 'we' have made the greatest mistake to enhance technology everyday. Despite the great things that are happening now, I still left us to figure out whether technology had done more harm than good. It looks like hackers know that most people nowadays do not use or own a computer but use their smart phones to store a lot of stuff on. So one must be very careful to with every device now

Since we are all plugged in and many of us do not know what to do when we are not plugged in, protecting the private information for ones person is going, has become, and will continue to grow into big business. Agree with some of the other comments, we are one big hack bomb away from many people running to the hills and just getting away from super smart technology. Yes, they are super convenient. Yes, have become a must have it now society, but to what end. To the end of our privacy. The the end of our ability to protect ourselves, what we work day in and day out to acquire. Their has to be a balance.

Good (albeit rather short) video. As technology becomes more and more ingrained in our daily lives, a hacker can definitely make more damage. For example, there has also been research done on hacking into a car or pacemaker. The video also mentioned that law enforcement is changing to meet the growing challenge. I think it is also important to note that laws may also need to be changed to address the new technologies and the risks associated with them.
