I find the whole Silk Road story interesting. While Silk Road was the big name, that doesn't mean there aren't other similar market places in existence. With Tor and the anonymity it provides I think its very difficult to take down networks like these. I'm curious to know how the Silk Road takedown actually occurred, perhaps more from a tip off on the inside or an undercover.

The creation of Silk Road is very interesting and the way FBI caught the dead pirate roberts and shut it down. I would love to explore more how this whole thing works. More cases will definitely be reported going forward. It was amazing to see how it was caught and the site was shut down.

That was mystery novel. I really enjoyed it though. Step by step process of how the FBI caught DPR was very interesting. It might seem that DPR was very careless but if you really think about it its not that uncommon. I mean he was doing so much and dealing with so much. For a normal human being making mistakes is common. And because criminals makes mistakes is why they get caught. I also think that redandwhite was scamming DPR. The point though is that it doesn't stop with DPR. It will keep growing

This video was published on October 11, 2013 by Wes Spencer, a faculty member the Telecommunications Systems Management program and Murray State University. This video presents and entertaining and fascinating analysis of how the initial implementation of The Silk Road and its creator, Ross Ulbricht, was taken down by the FBI. Unfortunately, the FBI win was short-lived as other competitors to The Silk Road (in addition to newer versions of The Silk Road itself) have simply popped-up in its place. Given the ease at creating anonymous black market product/service sites using the TOR network and the length of time it takes to follow the sparse leads, this does not bode well for law enforcement around the world.

Thats interesting. Silk road was such a sophisticated setup and this video shows simply what it was all about and what brought them down by the FBI.
