DEF CON 21 - Unexpected Stories From a Hacker Inside the Government
connellytat April 21,2015 I liked this video about Silk Road better than the other ones previously posted. The follow-up article provided by gmazur above was also interesting, but it's too bad there was corruption associated with the investigation.
DPerryat April 24,2015 Very interesting. I agree with many of the other comments that the layout and structure of this video made the timeline very easy to follow. Silk Road, albeit immoral and illegal, was still all-things-considered a masterpiece of underground tech. Almost a tech-based story like "Catch me if you can" where to some degree the black market is the protagonist.
mariawhit8at May 03,2015 This is really baffling to me. Drugs, money laundering, pitmen, credit cards being sold...I can't believe everything these people were able to utilized something like TOR and can get away with way more crime than some average criminal on the street.
marinomsat May 05,2015 I agree with the last statement on this video. At what does shutting this down seem reasonable? All the money spent on the investigation to just get one person. The process is then repeated and the site also has competitors.
mjacobat May 07,2015 Great high level video about the Silk Road and its ultimate demise.
