DEF CON 22 - Weaponizing Your Pets: The War Kitteh and the Denial of Service Dog
ftj258at April 05,2017 The video was all over the place. Some of the people that were interviewed, were they speaking for or against silk road? Like Mr. kokesh. he wasn't making sense to me. "i would feel safer from buying it from SR than from buying from grocery store?" wait what? Since when does grocery store sell illegal drugs? And what about "there is anonymity but accountability in SR." what does that mean. If the police can not even trace you then how can you confirm that buyers are getting legit stuff --I mean legit illegal drugs-- anyway what is stopping the seller to give you not real stuff and just open another account and pose as another seller and keep selling.
Other than that the context is pretty serious and I do not think that it is even a valid argument. Any sensible human will agree that have the darkweb and black market is dangerous for the society. What about SR claiming that they do not sell anything that will harm others? Why are drugs illegal in the first place? and think about the children getting their hands on this.
bschmid5at April 24,2017 This video was published on November 30, 2012 by Truthloader, a daily YouTube show bringing investigative and citizen journalism together. This video discusses the ease of purchasing drugs anonymously via The Silk Road, but does it with an interesting twist. Rather than focusing on the illegal nature of the operation – which they state several times – the video approaches it from the perspective that The Silk Road is a legitimate and useful mechanism for adults to safely purchase drugs – taking the tact that what drugs an adult wishes to partake in is their business and their business only; therefore, they should have some way in which to purchase those drugs without fear of getting caught. The video even goes on to state that user forums are a good way to communicate with individuals safe ways to use drugs in order to save lives.
msharma6at April 26,2017 Interesting video. Silk road is based on reputation and accountability but it can go bad at the same time. This video goes along with some of the other videos.
tritran42at April 30,2017 This video introduces us to SILK ROAD, which is an online black market. It is where you can get all the illegal stuff. It is designed to untraceable by installing the special software. Bitcoins is the method that uses to pay for the SILK ROAD. In my opinion, the online black market is a serious problem that needs to be solved. The reason is people can easily buy illegal stuff just by clicking. The dark website is extremely hard to stop because we do not know when it is created and by the time that we clean it up then another grows up. One of the methods to stop an online black market is to control payment method such as Bitcoins. The payment method is unknown source need to be ban and clean. Most of the dark websites use the payment method that makes it impossible to trace or leave us with no evident. If we can control payment method, then we can minimize of dark website grows.
sstumvollat May 02,2017 Its amazing that we can have a network like Silk Road and give it praise for its accountability and safety . To say that is a little sketchty is really an understatement. While it is claimed to be like an EBay for the darknet and it offers online an anonymous marketplace is really setting low standards for us and our children.
