This was an interesting video about the Silk Road. I will never forget the day I first heard that there was whole underground “Dark Net” that was hidden from the Internet. I was stunned that criminals could hide and secure themselves so easily from law enforcement. Even though the Silk Road has been seized and taken down, its incredible how fast replacement drug markets appeared to replace it.

Again and again there are many several websites just like the SILK ROAD in the dark web and all of them do the same thing. In my point of view I can't trust anyone on the dark-net, because he entered this field for illegal stuff. So how do you believe a guy who is willing to sell you a couple grams of drugs? Do you %100 believe that the product is pure? Of course no, he will definitely take your money and run away with it. Moreover, I am not saying all of the sellers do like that but i believe most of them do.

The darknet exists for criminal activity, but after watching this video discussing how futile the war on drugs really is, I found myself looking for something positive. What if this truly is an anonymous way for buyers and sellers to exchange goods and services with the level of accountability beyond what is found on the streets. Is it possible that this site and its forums can actually help people who are seeking information about quitting or safe drug use. Is this a tool that can promote responsibility for adults especially those who don't have mainstream political leanings? It is so difficult for me to imagine that this is a safer more responsible way to engage in illegal drug use, but I only hope that counselors and advisors have made their way to the non-browser accessible sites, to learn, assist and care for those with addictions. The existence of these sites forces us to think differently about access and distribution whether we like it or not.

This video shows us the drug dealing in the Silk Road. The drug dealing has been made some kind of change by the dark web. The online trading makes the procedure safer than buying drugs on the street; some dealer would make the rule not to sell the drug to the kid under 12 years old; and there are forums helping fellow users to be safe. That may be the sparkle in the dark web. Without the dark web, this illegal trading still would survival in the old way or other way. What if the police just keep it and control it rather than destroy the drug trading in the dark web?

Another video on how people swear on and live off of the legitimacy of the silk road. I can't believe this guy said he feels safer buying things off the silk road than he does an actual grocery store. That is outrageous to me, and perhaps he should lay off of whatever substances he's using. Though I do believe law enforcement should be working diligently to bring this tool down perhaps it is creating a safer route for drug users. I think the element of trust that has to be built between the seller and buyer, will in most cases keep someone from getting injured or robbed. In all reality drug users are going to find an avenue to get drugs either way perhaps this is just a safer means.
