This was a really entertaining video. Apparently, if you can't get a clipboard, a dog is the secret to social engineering. Also, the lack of a patch for human stupidity is job security.

This is a really cool idea with a potential to be groundbreaking...cats can be unreliable though, as shown at around the 23:50 mark. Also it's not hugely surprising that there are so many unsecure spots

Very interesting what you can do with a little bit of technology and small animals. Devices like raspberry pi and Arduino can allow people to do some innovative things and lead to new findings as it relates to infosec/forensics. But what this also highlights is that people will pretty much connect to any open wifi service that they find. People are very trusting of open wifi networks and that mentality should be curbed. Who knows what the owner of the wifi network is doing to the traffic that is being routed through it. Personal information could be captured and for all you know its being sold to nefarious beings. Regardless pretty cool what the presenter was able to do with a little bit of time, technology, and a pet.

I found this topic very interesting. But first of all, Def Con seems awesome. It was interesting seeing all of the different things being done with pets and technology. Hearing common issues with making pet tech and how it can benefit humans.

Seems clear why the speaker, Gene Bransfield, works for a company called Tenacity. This guy never gave up! He was determined to engineer these capabilities despite having no familiarity in certain necessary skill sets (e.g. soldering, coding). The video touched on several hardware and software solutions I was not previously aware of; for example Pineapple, GumStix, Cotton Candy, RockChip 3066 and WiGLE WiFi. Just wish I had more time to research them all.
