DEF CON 18 - Jackpotting Automated Teller Machines Redux
kkelaniat December 15,2016 Interesting topic! This is definitely a different point of view. The message is simple and accurate but I enjoyed the speaker’s sense of humor.
jgalaat December 15,2016 Very interesting concept of using pets to attack people in real life as well as in cyberspace. The rumors of having animals trained to be spies from various government sparks bit of reality after watching this video. The simple idea of using GPS information to launching wireless attacks is great as micro-electronics have became very cheap today. But we as forensic examiners can learn the process to analyse the data that is generated rather than becoming hacker's. Newer WiFi routers should start eliminating WEP so that novice customers can be safe to some extent.
ahammes12at December 16,2016 This seems to be an impressive toolkit for mobile device analysis. The reduced security practices of app developers combined with their unfortunate need for collecting user data is a formula for disaster. I was intrigued that even highly accredited apps don’t use specific practices.
Taylorlouat December 16,2016 This guy is really inventive. The Denial of Service Dog and the WarKitteh were hilarious but it was amazing to see his ideas play out so successfully. One of the best moments was "peanut butter jelly time" cartoon. It was also amazing and worrying to see that there are still so many WEP and Open networks. I mean considering that was a single neighborhood, I can't even imagine a larger scale. But, this video was really cool to watch and see how open source and inexpensive materials can create something like the collar the jacket and have those capabilities.
Lat December 16,2016 Most entertaining out of all the videos in your collection. I would like to meet Gene. He has a lot of fun with his tech hobby.
