Enjoyed this video of innovation by using Arduino and small GPS. The speaker is excellent and made it very interesting to watch. I think the idea of using cats and dogs to do surveillence is very clever and certainly a challenging job working with pets. Might be a great idea for police dogs to know exactly where they are and what they are seeing. I wonder if this technology became a reality since 2014.

Very cute and fun! As a cat lover myself I am a bit partial to the Warkitteh. Just goes to show that you shouldn't judge someone solely on experience. His tenacity and will to learn drove him to proving his idea.

Fun presentation, and serves as another example of how trivial it is sniff data traveling around on the airwaves.

I had already heard about the navy using dolphins to secure harbors and find lost swimmers and underwater mines. There are also rumors about training them to kill swimmers or carry explosives to enemy ships. It seems like similar technology could be used to truly weaponize pets by strapping explosives to them. If you could catch the family dog, you could probably depend on him returning home, at which point you could set off the bomb. I wonder if we will see terrorists doing something like this. Scary stuff.
