This is an interesting suit application to analyze mobile devices. It can help you in security, forensic, and malware tasks in a mobile device. It can analyze Android and IOS Operative Systems on mobile devices. It's called Santoku-Linux. Basically they get console commands and tools developed by independent programmers. Then, they put them in a GUI. This helps your productivity.

Interesting video about mobile app analysis. Mobile device forensics tools are becoming more and more necessary in our society. It seems like a lot of these tools are very customizable to your particular investigative needs. A lot of people use their phones to store their important files, so you never know what you will find in your investigation.

This was just another reason I didn't want to install the MDM software on my phone; but it was worth it for access to my email locally. This also pays good mention to the importance of password complexity and differentiation. The mobile forensic course will certainly be a fantastic and important course, especially with the degree of mobile usage these days; both personal and corporate.

I enjoyed learning more about mobile forensics. I've never heard of this suite of tools, but i would love to use the open source android option to test out the functionality. I would love to hear more about how they get into locked burner phones.

Nice open source mobile forensics distribution. Presentation makes appear that the suite is simple to use. With the mobile device market taking a larger share of the market each year, it is probably more important now to become trained in mobile platform forensics. Criminals rely upon mobile devices more and more because of some of the assumed anonymity especially with throw away phones, but as the presenter stated, they are even making progress in that area. Looking forward to downloading the Santoku distribution and giving it a try.
